Temperature Calculator
Perform mathematical operations on temperatures. Add, subtract, multiply, divide, and compare temperature values.
Temperature Math
Usage Examples
Temperature Difference
Example: What's the difference between boiling and freezing water?
100°C − 0°C = 100°C (180°F difference)
Average Temperature
Example: Average of day high and night low
(25°C + 15°C) ÷ 2 = 20°C
Temperature Rise
Example: Cooking temperature increase
150°C + 25°C = 175°C
Scale Conversion
Example: Mixing different scales
68°F + 10°C = 30°C (or 86°F)
Important Note About Temperature Math
When performing math with temperatures, values are first converted to a common scale. For example, adding 20°C + 30°F means converting 30°F to Celsius first (−1.11°C), then adding: 20 + (−1.11) = 18.89°C.
